Dear Friends and Family,
Firstly to all those who have been praying for us and supporting the ministry, thank you and may God bless you also as you continue to hear his voice and walk in obedience.
Secondly we would like to apologise for lack of communication on our part. It has just come to our attention that not all our emails have been getting thru, both sending and receiving, that coupled with a prolonged wait for a phone line to be installed and limited mobile phone reception has been extremely frustrating. We are now in Australia so will update as much as we can.
An update on our adventures, as we look back we can only give God the glory for all he has done. In January this year we were given an invitation to attend an International leadership conference in China. This conference is held every 2-3 years for KKI leaders. After some very clear guidance including dreams and visions we saw God provide over $15,000 in 2 weeks a huge confirmation that we were to attend and that God was wanting to mobilise the young people from the Pacific into missions. While in China all the team received personal revelation and vision. The team was received with great enthusiasm and gained invaluable training for youth ministry. Additionally, revelation was again given to us about waves of young people from the Pacific impacting Asia and thru to Israel. Invitations were also given to participate in cultural festivals and youth training camps in China. Amazing opportunities to impact a nation. Ones we will continue to pray about.
Back to Vanuatu, then on to our next outreach Pacifika 06 a performing Arts Outreach. We began in Vanuatu with a week of bootcamp then travelled to Santo island to take part in the De Quiros 400th year celebrations of the Southlands of the Holy Spirit declaration. What an amazing opportunity to be apart of such a spiritually significant event even after 17 hours on a boat and 3 hours on a flat bed truck! While in Santo the team were challenged to use warfare dance and cries to bring down strongholds over the land and the region. It was an honour to perform for both the President and Prime Minister of Vanuatu and to meet such God fearing men. Our team numbers 32 and ages range from 11 to 25. These are young people from the Southlands of the Holy Spirit, black white and in between, using Pacific island and contemporary dance to declare that Jesus Christ is Lord of our lands. While in bootcamp the team prayed for guidance re our program, where, what etc. It became apparent that God wanted the team to travel East, West and North to be apart of spiritually significant events, the De Quiros celebration in Santo, Vanuatu and the Uluru United prayer celebration in NT, Australia, an event we were not aware of until we received visions of the rock (Uluru) with young people praying and worshipping around it. We were reminded that in July 2003 God also miraculously took a KK Southlands team to Fiji where transformation was declared as the President repented of his nations sins. Also of a prayer time in the grounds of the Fiji parliament where the Vanuatu and Australian young people declared revival towards the west (The Southlands).
Our real adventures then began as funding for the Australian leg was hugely lacking. Our KK bank account was empty as China had wiped it out, no one had personal money left as all had been spent to get us to Santo. A major prayer initiative was launched as these young people believed the word of the Lord to them. One by one miracles began, tickets were beginning to be purchased for Step 1 The Airfare and Visa costs, Pt Vila to Brisbane, travel and accommodation to Townsville Nth Qld. Half the team left on Saturday 20 May while the rest continued to pray. By the time of the next flight, Monday 22 May, all the team had tickets and enough ground fees to cover food in Brisbane (Thanks to YWAM Brisbane for hosting us and making us feel welcome )and van hire to Townsville Nth QLD. Along the way we had to pray for accommodation and God again looked after us as we were welcomed by the Church of Christ in Gladstone and Ayr Uniting Church. We arrived in Townsville on Saturday 27th to perform Saturday that evening. What an awesome opportunity it was to see God glorified thru dance and to pray for other young people. Thanks to those of our church family who have gone out of their way to make us feel home again in Townsville, to feed us, transport us and encourage us. After a full weekend of performance in both the Mt Louisa House of Praise and the Rock Church and then on Monday at Shalom Christian College, we were looking forward to resting today (Tuesday). However, we were then at a standstill as once again our bank balance was low, not enough for us to consider a trip to Uluru and then back again to Brisbane. However, God is faithful, as the team humbled themselves and continued to seek his will, amazing prophetic words were again given to us, he definitely wants us in Uluru. So we began to pray in the unseen as we spent the day in Worship. Step 2 Townsville to Uluru, Transport, food, accommodation, warm clothes and tents and personal supplies. During the day we also explored many avenues for transport, van hire, bus hire etc but none eventuated. The only possibility was with Greyhound buses at the cost of $13,500. (We had previously been given guidance thru a few team members of a vision of grey bus, a greyhound dog and a name called Darrell) We rang Greyhound and got a quote, then learned that the operations manager was called Darrell! However we still had only the fundraising from the weekend and an additional $80.00 left over from the trip up. We needed $10,000 more by 3.00pm, the time we had to confirm the Greyhound quote. During the day a constant stream of people arrived to encourage us, leave warm clothing, socks, shoes for the village kids, tents, personal supplies, medicine and then 4 separate donations amounting to $10,000 came in. We had $13,500 by 3.00pm! We now leave this Thursday to Uluru PTL (Greyhound office staff have even followed our story and Darrell should now know he is a part of a miracle). We will have amazing opportunity to pray for our lands, and to declare Jesus is Lord thru dance and warfare Psalm 8:2 The praises of Children will bring down the enemy!
Please pray with us for (at this stage)
Food and accommodation costs and $25.00 per person park entry to Uluru.
Then Step 3 Townsville - Brisbane Van Hire, accommodation, performances and food.
In sharing our story tonight (Tuesday), we are challenged that together in one accord we can be filled with the spirit of God and see him work miracles. To God be the Glory!!!
Please continue to pray for team unity, team health and for protection from unforeseen attacks along the way!!!!!!!!!

Update No 2.
Hi again from the Pacifika Outreach team. We now are home and reflect on
what an awesome God we have. As many of you know God provided the way for
the group to go by coach to the Australian National Day of Thanksgiving and
Global Prayer Day celebrations at Uluru. While praying at the Rock we had
opportunity to pray for reconciliation in the region between cultures.
People from every state in Australia and many surrounding Pacific nations
circled the rock and repented of past sins, then rededicated the region to
God for the next 400 years. We had just returned from a similar ceremony at
Matantas, Vanuatu where DeQuiros declared the region the lands of the Holy
Spirit. Many felt an amazing presence of God during the time. The group was
then kept very busy taking part in both Saturday and Sunday celebrations
using dance and testimony to speak of unity between nations. More
information on this weekend can be found at the Children’s Prayer Network
website (www.kidspray.org.au) including a DVD presentation.
Back to Townsville where we had opportunity to minister in local primary
and high schools as well as a youth detention centre. Many young people made
commitments to the Lord as well as asked for prayer, something not too
common for Aussie schools or prisons.
We then travelled down the coast to Woorabinda, via Mackay, an indigenous
community South-West of Rockhampton. While there, the group were invited to
share their story on community radio, visit the local primary and high
school as well as teach dance to local youth. Our time impacted both our
team and local youth as we got to know each other and encouraged them to
know God as their saviour.
On to Rockhampton, where we ministered to many South Sea Islanders who in
turn prayed for us and gave us a greater understanding of the history of
“blackbirding” in QLD. Many of the Vanuatu team met distant relatives.
Next to Gladstone, where we spent a weekend with a number of church
presentations both Saturday and Sunday nights as well as a community
presentation in a local park. We met many locals and were in turn encouraged
by the work the church is doing in Gladstone and the heart they had to make
us welcome in their town.
We continued down the coast to Hervey Bay ministering in a new church and
being rewarded with great hosts and a rest day.
On to Brisbane, to minister in a combined church event in Logan City.
Again being hosted by an amazing church.
Then to Nambour, our last weekend to run a KK Go Camp at Nambour Baptist
Church. Using creative teaching, devotions and creative Arts workshops to
encourage young people in their walk with God.

Thanks again to those of you who have kept in touch, prayed for us,
helped with finances and hosting, may God in return richly bless you as you
have blessed us and been a part of building His kingdom. As we reflect back
we testify of God’s amazing provision to make the trip possible. We
performed to over 2,000 people, bringing the word of God to young people,
encouraging them to stand strong, to know God and trust him. We saw many
lives changed and walk closer to the Lord and return home blessed and
honoured to have been apart of such an awesome outreach. We have been so
blessed by others and return as a unified team having seen and experienced a
living God who abundantly provides for his purposes. Our faith has grown so
much, to God be the Glory.
Blessings,
The Pacifika 2006 Team.
